I arrive to Oxford january 12th, in a very cold night; that´s my first surprise, even if I know is winter, is cold, I think well is Mississippi, it couldn´t be so cold, but it is. See the snow falling is an amazing experience for most of the people in the program, we are from tropical places and for us the winter usually means only rain.

ReplyDeleteIt was my first time to see the snow, um...actually it was not the first time, it's because I have been UK when I was young. As I remember, that time was the first time I saw the snow. But I was too young and the memory was not so clearly, so I said that this time was the "first time"!
I hope I can build the snowman by next time!

time. I'm from South Korea. Winter of my hometown is so cold, colder than here.
So I feel that Oxford's winter is like late fall of Korea.
